Pew Power for Connect09
The emphasis in the Connect09 campaign on 'neighbourhood evangelism' has struck a chord across the diocese. Many churches are off and running in efforts to harness prayer and research to 'connect' with those around them. Many are using groups of key congregation members to pray and plan for the year ahead. Next month, there will be five regional 'strategy nights' to help key lay leaders understand the global/local nature of Connect09.

How can I be involved in Connect09?
It is as easy as Pray, Connect, Expect! Connect09 starts with prayer. Then we need to work at connecting. Connecting won’t just happen. We need to make conscious decisions. Expectation goes hand-in hand with prayer. We pray to a God who hears. Expectation also goes hand in hand with the Word of God. His Word is the most powerful force in the universe.
