Neighbourhood spiritual watch

Give parishioners a “neighbourhood spiritual watch” with responsibility to pray for a group of neighbours, survey them, invite them to events and speak to them on spiritual matters. Use a parish map and ask people involved to mark the location of their house on the map.
Prayer for local organisations

Our organisation has produced a special booklet to facilite small groups praying for non-Christian contacts and making progress in personal evangelism. Its been tried and tested over many years. Contact for more information.
Prayer diary

Has anyone developed a prayer diary to give to people to help them record and pray for CONNECT-related matters? Would love to avoid reinventing that particular wheel!
Hi Gary. You can sign up to receive the Connect09 e-bulletin and receive regular weekly emails featuring prayer. There are also Connect09 prayer cards so you can write the names of people you are praying for.

Easy way to start a prayer meeting

We were looking for an easy way to start a new prayer meeting - so we simply added it to an existing meeting (our monthly parish tea) and hand out the Connect09 prayer points - couldn’t be easier!
Summer Prayer Nights

Over summer - while Bible study groups are on a break & yet many people are still around - run several weeks of prayer meetings. Using CMS & Connect material is easy, intersting & inspiring.
